A winter splendour like from a picture: The winter in Seefeld presents itself in the most beautiful manner: snowy white, sparkling and usually with bright blue sky. Thanks to our privileged location on the Seefeld high plateau 1,200 m above sea level, we can enjoy winter in all its variety.
Your children are welcome to borrow bobsleigh and slide plates, snowshoes are also available. Tobogganing on request.
With the ski areas Rosshütte Seefeld, Gschwandkopf (especially for families but also for advanced skiers) and Geigenbühel and Birkenlift (especially for beginners), nice little ski resorts await you not far from our romantic guesthouse Alpengruss in Seefeld. Skiing in the sun all day long is on the agenda here. Thus, the Rosshhütte is also a very popular destination for ski touring.
Our Haus Alpengruss is located right in the middle of the Region Seefeld – Tirols Hochplateau, a real Eldorado for cross-country skiing. Undoubtedly, life is on the tracks. Whether classic or skating technique, leisurely skier or professional: the network with 260 km perfectly groomed tracks, two floodlit night tracks and a dog track.In addition, our Haus Alpengruss is located only a few metres from the next track.
A great variety of winter walking trails goes through the wintery natural landscape around our little hotel in Seefeld and invite you to extended, romantic winter walks. Those who like speed, should give tobogganing a try – for example at the Reiterjochalm close to our house, the Geigenbühel and the Pfarrhügel. We provide bobsleighs, toboggans and snow discs free of charge. In order to enjoy the beautiful winter landscape, we recommend ski touring or snowshoe hiking. A more relaxed way to do so is to take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage.
On the winter hiking trails around Seefeld you can hike between deep snow-covered forests, impressive snow walls and rustic huts through the alpine winter worlds and find yourself completely. On a ski tour you can enjoy the fresh air and the magnificent view over the region and the upper Inn valley!
